Okay, so this is old news to most, but my girlfriend recently experienced this glitch and wants everyone to know about it; what better way to do that than through my own personal article? Video is after the break.
Apparently, Nintendo forgot to bugtest this room. If you enter the room, save and turn off the Wii, later when you come back to it, the Shad character is GONE, but he won't let you LEAVE. Midna won't let you warp (she says he's still there). There is no cure, except to save and start over. My g/f ran into this glitch about 50 hours into the game. That's just over TWO STRAIGHT DAYS of playing.
Luckily, I was smart and had saved the games to the SD card pretty recently, so she only lost about 8 hours
Nintendo has yet to respond this terrible glitch, which can easily ruin the fun of this incredible game, and possibly turn you off of the Wii forever.
