I want to build a MAME cabinet. For those not in the know, MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. MAME itself is an emulator of arcade games with the intent of preserving gaming history and preventing vintage games from being lost or forgotten. This is an application anyone can run on their home computer, which in turn runs ROMS; basically images of arcade games dumped to a file. You might recognize the ROM portion as pertaining to CD-ROM's; ROM simply stands for Read Only Memory, meaning it is data which can not be changed, but is rather simply read.
